| I am appauled how many anti-Jewish comments are here, and most surprisingly from American jews themselves. First, I was educated in the Russian system, and can tell you how there is so much peer pressure and antisemitism already, If they start teaching christianity, this will definitely traumatized Jewish children, who already feel that they are being discriminated by teachers and classmates. Russian jews are not the cause of the lack of values, and downfall of Russia, in fact jews fought in the WWII, and payed in blood for the freedom and peace in Russia. Jews are scientist,doctors, writers ,and workers who every day help to make Russia a better country. You know what they told my dad when they destroyed my grandparents` grave "sorry why don`t you go to Israel!" NO! We re not animals, we are russian citizens too and we have rights, and we have to fight for our rights in Russia. Russia is a multi cultural and religiously diverse country.Christian values can be learned privately. |
