| Broadly I agree with your analysis that the IDF makes some attempts to avoid civilian casualties, while Hamas makes great attempts to cause them. However, the IDF has hugely superior firepower and control of the skies, and is infinitely more physically and technically capable of hitting purely military targets and therefore it`s moral superiority over Hamas is not as great as you imply. Moreover, I don`t actually believe your bald statement that Israel mourns the deaths of Pal civilians. Maybe tIsraelis did once and I`m sure some still do, but a lot of the pro-Israel people posting on this site seem unconcerned about Pal civilian deaths and a small, but noisy minority, seem to positively support the idea of the IDF causing death and destruction among the civilian Pal population. |
