Give me a break.
When it comes to selling hametz, in reality, nothing is sold. Nothing is bought. It`s all a big sham by so-called observant people who are too cheap to get rid of the items of food that they think they should not possess during the Passover holiday.
Heck, if I was god, (which for me is not a big stretch), I`d be thinking, "who are you trying to kid? I told you NOT to own this stuff or have it in your house. This make-believe transaction is nothing more than an impudent slap in the face." |
