In Israel, there`s no civil marriage law. It`s left in the hands of the religious leadership. Therefore, if the Muslim leaders say polygamy is legal, we say Mazel Tov.

What adults do is their choice. Israel, however, would step in if that means marrying a child, since Israel, unlike most of the Muslim world, believes children need protection.
