Israelites were in Diaspora for without the Ethiopians who assisted in hiding and providing humanitarian during the Diaspora period where Jews were constantly hunted and slaughtered in the African part of country.
It was through the actions of Ethiopians that enable 1984 Operation Moses (8,000 Ethiopian Jews were airlifted), 1985 Operation Joshua (800 Jews was airlifted) and 1991 Operation Solomon completed by PM Yitzhak Shamir.
