The Israeli government & its officials roam the world stating how vibrant the Israeli economy is, and the fact that the Israeli budget has a $2 Billion surplus. Listening to these guys, one would believe that Israel is the world`s largest economic power, with more jobs to offer than its population can handle, and prosperity all over the country, to the point where the only impediment in turning israel into THE world power is more Aliyah (immigration). How does this reconcile with the fact that a growing number of people cannot afford the basics?
