Hello Franco...when I used the term "innocents" I was referring to the fact that they could not have had anything to do with the origin, planning and carrying out of the killing. We know Muslim women are subject to their husband`s orders so even if this family disliked what the man was going to do, they could not have stopped him.
That said, I fully agree that after the killing they were rejoicing, and that is most unpleasant and unneccessary.
Mostly, though, I was referring to the fact that Israel cannot hope to be included among the Western democracies when it condones "revenge" behaviour by its Knesset like this. The Senate in America, Parliament in England and I`m sure your own government would not do such a thing. It makes Israel almost as bad as the killer... |
