"you are not so unique in suffering..." I`ll tell you what is so unique for YOU: the fact that YOU are guilty of THIS suffering. Yes, it`s not a mistake, I am repeating: YOU are guilty. Don`t try to do away with the guilt being the son/grandson of the people(if they could be called people)and the son of the country who murdered in the modern era by modern means a third of another people (they had plans to murder the other 2/3-s the moment they get them in their clutches. It wasn`t only a small group, a political party who did the crime. It was the German people or most of them.
The horrible thing is that even today you don`t want to recognise YOUR crime and keep interfering negatively in the life of the survivors from YOUR crime. Luckily, not all the Germans today are like you, there are conscientious people today in Germany who repent for their fatherland`s atrocities but they are made of a different stuff. They are German`s hope for the future. |
