| My reasoning may be "fundamentally wrong" by your standards. However, the main issue, as far as I`m concerned, is saving innocent lives. Your standard liberal pablum costs countless innocent lives. First of all, terrorism is terrorism and does not depend on ideological viewpoint. Deliberately attacking helpless civilians is terrorism. Period. Civilians die in every war, of course, because collateral damage is unavoidable. That doesn`t mean all war is terrorism. Executing terrorists saves innocent lives in obvious ways. 1) Dead terrorists commit no further atrocities. 2) It discourages other potential terrorists from committing atrocities. 3) Debriefing yields information which can save other innocent people. Morally, there is no question. Terrorists should be quickly executed. |
