it would be nice if Shas could just keep their beliefs to themselves for a change - but unfortunately in this country it appears that religion rules supreme and those of us who live here that despise religion are left as second class citizens in our own country. Thanks to a rational Jerusalem court it should be possible for me to live a normal life next week as opposed to being forced to respect outdated primitive pagan codes of law that I find insulting and divisive. I hope this is the beginning of a change in Israel - perhaps over time it will become a real democracy where religion and the state are separate and religious bigots wont have the power to legislate primitive faith based laws.
