They selected a young Muslim FBI agent, he spent a year with Saddam, controlling every aspect of his detention, letting him believe that the agent personally reported to Bush, even playing off Saddam`s phobias about dirt. In the end, Saddam told this guy almost everything mostly because the agent told Saddam he liked his poetry! Abu Ghraib style techniques just get the subject to anything they think the interrogator wants to hear, not necessarily useful information. |
