| The Al Aqsa plaza is again opened to non-muslims. At least it was when I went there in late September. Only from 9:00am-11:00am. they said 12:00, but we were gruffly asked to leave by the soldiers shortly after 11:00. Non-muslims cannot enter either the mosque nor the shrine, but still well worth a visit. You enter near the W. Wall, and can depart through the gate of the cotton merchants into the Arab quarter. |
