| Vanunu committed treason. Pure and simple. Rightly or wrongly, that is what he did, and he went to jail for it. His motives were not for prinicples but becuase he hates Israel and he hates Jews. Given that he routinely speaks to foreigners all the time, I doubt he has any more secrets to reveal, so I am not clear why Israel prohibits his voluntarily leaving. We know he will be a big hit on the anti-Israel circuit with his rantings, but there are many other Israelis who do likewise. |
