The writer who says the Falashmura began to make aliyah in 1982 is just confused.
As is the one who says the rabbis have recognized them AS JEWS, if this was the case, they would not be required to undergo "return to Judaism" courses when they arrived.
In 1992, the (minister of absorption) Yair Tsaban`s committee on the Falashmura was told by one of the witnesses that no matter how many were brought, there would always be people in Ethiopia with first degree relatives in Israel....Well what do you know...it`s true! |
