"... we go there with an open mind and heart to listen and learn from all parties." How this harms US or Israeli interests is beyond me. Despite my intense dislike of Hamas, is it indisputably one of the parties holding the keys to ME peace. A discussion between it and President Carter may or may not provide momentum needed to move the peace process forward; but continuing Hamas` political isolation surely would hinder it.
