| It is a well known fact that the Olympic Games have long been tainted with anti-Semitism and has never had moral qualms about rewarding the Olympic Games to totalitarian regimes. For proof of this, we only have to witness Berlin 1936 which was a showcase for the glory of Nazism and Aryan supremacy. Move on to Munich 1972, and we witness the Olympic authorities` cold indifference to the fate of the slain Israeli athletes while the world continued to party on. Moscow 1980 was a showcase for the glories of the totalitarian Soviet regime, one of the most ardent supporters of the destruction of Israel. Fast forward to 2008, and we witness the rewarding of the Olympic Games to another evil empire: China, a country which has always had cozy relations with all those Muslim nations that wish to eradicate Israel. It is time for Israel and the Jewish people to stand up and say that we will not countenance the egregious abuse of human rights that China is currently carrying out against Tibet. |
