We all know that the Olympic Games have been tainted with anti-Semitism and a wanton disregard for human rights and life in general since Berlin 1936. Munich 1972 proved that the Olympic authorities care even less for Jewish lives. This time, another evil empire, China, has been rewarded the Olympic Games. I believe it is a moral imperative that the Jewish people and Israel boycott these Olympics in solidarity with the oppressed Tibetans, jailed practitioners of Falun Gong, and other repressed minorities and political prisoners in China. If Israel persists in participating in these games, it will desecrate the memory of the millions of Jews slaughtered by the Nazis and their collaborators as well as the memories of the slain Israeli athletes of Munich 1972.
