Israel should do every thing in its power for Druz. Druz love peace and are upstanding Israeli citizens.
If the Druz community seeks a military cemetary, Israel must resolve any difficulties and make it happen.
The desire for a military cemetary, is to honor the deep sacrifices that the Druz community has made on behalf of the State of Israel. There is no greater expression of friendship and solidarity with the rest the citizens of Israel.
This isnt just a matter of the military bureaucracy, but of sensitive public relations between the government and its proud citizens.
Israeli government officials must do what they can to resolve this matter. |
