If only you read a history book or two, you would realize that since the beginning, when Jews began returning to their land - yes.their land not Palestinian land since it was largely unsettled and in Ottoman and then British hands and never Palestinian hands - they have tried to live at peace with the local Arabs, who later decided to call themselves Palestinians for political purposes.
It began with settling barren land and buying legally Palestinian land, and 3 times before 1948 - the Jews tried to come to political settlements to split the land based more or less on who was living where at the time.
the Arabs rejected every time, and then initiated a war which they lost in 1948.
I can promise you, had the Arabs won that war, Jews wouldn`t be living in "Palestine". But Since the Jews won the war, over a million Palestinians are allowed to live, work and VOTE in Israel today while Israel - despite having leftist or rightist governments...(cont)
