What a perfect fit. Carter goes to Syria to meet with the Hamas leader at the same time as Presidents Bush, Clinton, each current presidential candidate, and apparently all former living secretaries of state go to Israel for the 60th anniversary. You couldn`t make it up.
Maybe Carter can add a book tour in Tora Bora with Al Qaida, or even edit a Bin Laden speech for Al Jazeera. After all, he edited speeches for Yasser Arafat--he knows the lingo. For refreshment, brother Billy knew where all the beer was hidden in Tripoli, Libya. |
