| Posts citing that Israel is entitled to benefit from a double standard are quite commonplace in these forums and are a complete bore. Until Israel lives up to the standards that Israel is calling to be enforced upon other nations, then Israel will continue to have no support in the world. This is why sanctions against Iran do not work and have not worked. There are a significant number of nations ignoring the sanctions and dealing with Iran, even providing nuclear materials. In the final analysis, the sanctions against Iran are just for show and are having no effect upon Irans program or resolve. Perhaps this would not be true if Israel did not demand and receive their customary double standard. Those days are coming to an end. |
