There is nothing whatsoever biased about enforcing sanctions against Iran for violating the *commitments* that they freely entered into by joining the NPT. NPT members get the *benefit* of *assistance* from IAEA and NPT fellow members in constructing their nuclear program, as Russia has been doing. Since they are violating the contract that they signed, it is essential to the function of the NPT that nuclear assistance be withdrawn -- including economic assistance, trade barrier assistance, and dual-use technology assistance.
It has nothing to do with what Israel is doing or not doing. It has everything to do with Iran`s commitments to IAEA and NPT fellow members. |
