I am no longer young, but I still want the Palestinians to win. For that to happen, both sides have a lot of growing up to do. I hope I live to see it. Bradley Burston.
The Jews on one part want land for themselves. They do not acknowledge their King as ruler over them. The Palestinians on the other part want land for themselves. They do not acknowledge the God of the Jews as God who never changes. Morally, both parties stand on the same ground: denial of authority over the land. The authority is no ordinary one. The Eternal One said: ?The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. Lev 25:23?. It is not a land that can be subjected to trades and treaties. Yet Israel is going the way of trades and treaties to keep the land, as if receiving it from the nations by compromising with or approving the sinful ways of the enemies? claim on the land. Their treaties and covenants with death will be annulled. They shall be subjected to penury for denying their King and trading with part of the Land. If Israel exists in the Middle East drawing compromises on the way of the Muslims, they shall be over run by the Muslims in the Land the Eternal One has given to their ancestors. Then Bradley?s wish for Philistine?s victory over the Jews will take place. Yet this shall not subject their King to the enemies. A Christian wish.
I love the Palestinians as a people (apart from their prophet of trouble from Arabia). I love the Jews as a people. Both are one people in humanity but different people in respect to their services to the Almighty: One a party to minister blessing, another to see the need and acknowledge the blessing through mediation. If this is known and done in time, much trouble ahead can be avoided. Unless this path is mutually recognized and followed, many Bradleys will be young and grow old not meeting the hope in their lifetime. |
