They want every Jew to be plucked from every corner of the earth and moved to the apartheid "Jewish state," and at the same time they want to complain that they are victims because there are no Jews left in the areas that they worked to cause "aliyah." Who can look after the synagogues after all the Jews have moved to Ariel and Beitar Illit? And Israel has destroyed hundreds of mosques in ethnically cleaned Palestinian villages. Some surviving ones are now used as nightclubs and bars. Meron Benvenisti documented all of this in his book Sacred Landscape (University of California Press, 2000). But the rabid Zionists here prefer victimhood to reality. |
