Obviously, actors are people like everyone else, with the same or even greater propensity for human weakness and folly. That being said, actors make a far greater impact on human culture than the vast majority of us ever will.
As an actor, Charleton Heston left a particularly rich and I would say historical legacy, even if you don`t like his position on gun control. Gloating over his death just seems shabby, disrespectful and small-minded, and I would feel the same about anyone whose life`s work had made such an impact, not just movie actors. |
