| I agree with those who say Israel and the USA should not boycott this conference. 1) Send a low level delegation to show disdain for others attending. 2)Argue that although Israel is not perfect (no country is), it is far better in respect of the UN conference`s theme than almost all others attending. 3) Argue that Islam is the home of racism and that Africa and near East is it`s backyard. 4) Argue that the UN conference is about helping to resolve racist issues NOT to present a platform to foster it. 5) Argue that the UN conference is a reflection of the UN General Assembly and as such delegates need to be far more respectful than it`s predecessor if it is to achieve anything other than constant vetos. 6) Argue that those accusers who are blameless can continue at the conference the others should catch the first plane home and explain to their countrymen why they so dismally failed at the UN conference. 7) Argue that failure to censure ALL countries that discriminate. |
