| You may be optimistic and bullish on the new age. It still has much to prove for me to be bullish and supportive of it. I am not optimistic about this new age, infact I am very bearish. Technology is not interconnecting people in a normal and healthy way. How can you make such a statement when people are turning into zombies before computer and tv screens before our eyes. Having an exchange like this one on this talkback is completely artificial, unnatural, and not all that healthy, but it is entertaining and that is what hooks people. Man`s world has shrunk and become smaller, but it has not helped us realize deeper truths about ourselves, SPIRITUAL TRUTHS. Maybe this is part of the cycle that finally leads people to want to challenge themselves with the more abstract and transcendant truths that most people choose to ignore. Suffering seems to be the only efficient path that works. Anything else always ends up being faked, commercialized, misinterpreted, psycho-babble. |
