Intel employs more than 7000 people in Israel and has invested billions into FABs and design centers in Kiryat Gat, Jerusalem and Haifa. Motorola, Lucent and many other Fotune 100 companies learned long ago that Israel is a great investment. Google already has a design center in Israel and even with the Shekel gaining approximately 25% on the dollar in the past 18 months, the smart money is betting on Israel. For a country constantly under internal and external threats with almost no natural resources (other than Bromine), it?s amazing how much ingenuity and innovation that has come out of there. |
