A very interesting view there Yasmeen. But could it be that Sarah then was murdered?By whom? Could such a statement be correct?
Maybe by Hagar, or even by Yishmael. Yishmael grew up knowing about G-d through Avraham, but he also grew up with pagan gods through Hagar.
And it`s known that certain rites with regard to certain pagan gods included the sacrifices of humans. The one who could prevent Avraham from going along with it was Sarah. And if Avraham loved Hagar more than Sarah, then how much influence had Hagar over his belief?
A very interesting thought because it eventually culminated in how the Koran became written, a mixture of a belief in G-d and pagan gods put together based on human interpretations since Yishmael and the tribes connection with other faiths till that moment, including Christianity. Still, it`s only written by way in how it was told them, or how they perceived it, and thus not in a very sholarly matter, then just piece and bits from there and there. |
