Let`s look at the details:
The police "believe" their are more cases, but are only guessing based on their prejudices.
They report one predator in religious clothing (which may or may not mean he is from a religious community, as even terrorists have dressed as religious jews on occasion).
The rabbis encourage parents to complain.
"the number of complaints filed is far from being high"
Rabbinical courts send leads on cases.
A Lod resident came to Bnei Brak to attack children, he was caught by a family.
The community knows better than the police.
How does this evidence lead to such a concousive headline? Poor journalism. Bnei Braq is a large area with tens if not hundreds of thousands of residents, there will certainly be sexual predators among such a large population, emotional and mental illness can strike any population. However, to write a headline that Bnei Braq has the `by far the highest rate of sexual offenses` without evidence is supporting an agenda. |
