The Eritreans are coming to Israel believing they are safer there than anywhere. Our forefathers have always told us someday we will go back to Jerulsalem. Eritrean migrants are in distress,and they must not be deported. During and before WWII Jews used to be deported from Europe to Eritrea. Search "TIME" megazine. Italy and Brits talked about deporting Jews to Eritrea as a long-term solution. Jews lived in Eritrea for many years comfortably. Our relationship goes far deeper, we happen to belong to the same family of origin.If Israel has not been recovered by now our history book orders us to go and recover Jerusalem from the arab invaders. Just because currently Eritreans are not in a position of comfort does not mean they have to be treated in the same way as other African migrants. Eritreans must be treated in a special way, much like returning jewish to the land of their roots. They must not be asked their cause why the come to Israel, they should be given work permit. |
