| You may be a thoughtful person, but I am afraid you have a blind spot in relation to Israel. If we consider the USA which is built on the genocide of the indigenous people, how would you react with Native Indians every day launched rockets at your nice comfortable house in Los Angeles? Would you say `these people are historical victims and therefore the US army must only (if at all) fire back using the exact same technology as used by the Indians? Or would you say that my first interest is protecting my own home and children because I have no where else to go. When the firing stops we will deal with the `injustice`. This is the position of Israel. We wish Palestinians to live in independence and dignity but it is not possible to move toward this while they are run by Iranian terrorists. If Israel where for example to withdraw its soldiers from the West Bank tonight, by tommorow missles would be fired at Tel Aviv. |
