| This initiative is a great idea! The UK is basically severely curtailing (from this April 6th!) the tax benefits they have offered for over 90 years for Non-Domiciled residents, such as Roman Abramovich. There will be several wealthy Jews considering leaving the UK and looking for a new base! The problem in considering Israel is that the offer of an increase from 4/5 years (current rules) to 10 year total tax exemption for non-Israeli income does not go far enough! Israel needs to offer total indefinite exemption in return for a fixed fee or fixed percentage. Israel will gain far more than it loses! On the men featured: Sheldon Adelson is a US Citizen and since the US taxes on the basis of Nationality.So,US Bilionaires are NOT able to benefit.
