| Nehemiah Shtrasler`s final conclusions are only too true. From the time I had temporary work (as a new immigrant nearly forty years ago) with a postal worker, and saw him buy lottery tickets from his meager wages, I have understood that the lottery is essentially another way to take money from the poor. This immoral business should be stopped. The corruption scandals are only part of the scandal of this `enterprise`. |
