| There are two choices open to Israel and only two choices. Israel can deal, in good faith, with the Palestinians, and be ready to make some serious concessions, or they can have war indefinitely, into the far future. Ultimately, if Israel chooses war, the Palestinians will obtain a weapon which can do serious hurt to Israel. This will have the effect of gaining the attention of Israelis, who will then wonder, how it came to this. Israel makes these choices now. |
