I suggest that those who view America as Israel`s elder brother consider the fact that for America, Israel plays the role of a spiritual grandfather.
If it weren`t for the Jewish People whose descendants again govern in Jerusalem today, vital concepts such as human rights and freedom (religious and otherwise) would be unknown to America.
Indeed, where would America be without Israel? Would it have any meaning at all? Probably not. |
