| The entire civilized world understands that Israel is facing existential threats. Hezbollah has been supplied with 40,000 Iranian and Syrian missiles. The missiles can reach as far south as Be`er Sheva, and are aimed at the heart of Israel. Syria is supporting all Palestinian terror organizations, while arming itself with chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them. Jane`s defence had reported recently that there was a serious accident in Syria when Syrian and North Korean personnel had been mounting a chemical warhead on a missile, thus killing scores of people. Syria`s lethal designs on Israel cannot be underestimated. Iran is developing a nuclear weapons program while calling for the demise of the Jewish State. Iran is also arming, training and giving strategic support to Hezbollah and to Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Hamas has been firing missiles at the Western Negev, as well as the city of Ashkelon, for seven years now. |
