In papers published in the past Peace Now has come out in complete support of keeping maaleh adumim and gush etzion. Central Gush Etzion is made up of 8 major towns: Kfar Etzion, Rosh Tzurim, Bat Ayin, Alon Shvut, Elazar, Nvei daniel, Efrat, Migdal Oz. The area is totally Jewish without an arab presence. The arab towns in the area are well known to interact positively with Israel.
