Peace with Hamas is impossible until leadership recognizes the right of Israel to exist. Any temporary peace with Hamas merely gives the militants an opportunity to build up their arsenal.
The native Gazans, most of whom are supporters of Hamas leadership, should consider dropping their allegiance to such lieing, deceitful, and murderous thugs whose selfish political goals and ambitions take precedence to the needs of their deluded supporters.
When Hamas and their cohorts cease their rocket attacks and recognize the right of Israel to exist, then perhaps some semblance of peace may result that could eventually lead to a comprehensive peace in the region. Until such time Hamas and other militant groups will remain the `naqba` of all peace loving Palestinians in the region. |
