Israel is not taking any water from Gaza. The only connection to Gaza`s supply is for pumping water INTO it from the Israeli supply, not out.
Not to mention that most water in Israel comes from various aquifers and the Sea of Galilee. About 26 million cu. meters of this heads to Jordan.
Pals are welcome to drop wells into the mountain aquifers in the West Bank, but they do so haphazardly and suck out the water at huge rates, and refuse to work with Israeli water officials to manage it better.
Do you know what happens when you deplete an aquifer in the desert? It fills with salt water and ruined! Which screws everyone, not just Pals or Jews. |
