I know the blogger meant no goodwill towards Catholics by his rather fatuous remark. Ratzinger`s alleged link to nazism does not bother me at all. I speak as a traditional Latin Rite Catholic. The pope was not a nazi, and all the evidence points to that fact. What bothers me most about this Holy Father, though, is what seems to be his continuing of the false ecumenism and religious liberty legacies of his two immediate predecessors. As for the nazi stuff- as I have said before, I often come to haaretz for a good laugh. |
