If we throw out the words of our sages, then we have thrown out Judaism. Everything connected with ritual slaughter is from our sages, all of our Purim customs comes from them, if we were to toss out the sages, we would toss out the Book of Esther also, for there is the opinion that since it does not mention the name of God it is not holy, so heave out Vashti also!
