| And Israel could have negotiated a peace treaty with Syria years ago that would have drawn Syria over towards the Western sphere of influence. Instead Israel has pushed Syria (who was an American ally in the first gulf war) further into the hands of Iran by refusing to negotiate a peace. Not surprising, since Israel is pushing the Palestinians out of the hands of Abbas, and into the hands of Hamas and Iran too. |
