In Israel like in the USA, private individuals with a clean police record may apply for a license to legally acquire and carry a firearm such as a pistol or an M16 gun.
People who frequently travel to areas such as the West Bank for business purposes will more easily get a license, whereas others have to prove that their circumstances require of them to be armed.
I don`t see what is so strange about a Jew carrying a gun. Of course, there are *some* persons in this forum who would prefer to see the Jews defenseless. We all know what train of thought they represent. |
