Having read a few of the comments posted I`ve been shocked at the ignorance displayed by some of them. Many Israeli citizens carry handguns/rifles as a matter of course. Due to the long history of Arab terrorists attacking innocent children and teenagers and NOT soldiers on the battlefield, it has become a sad neccesity to arm civilians accordingly. Thank G-d he had a gun and prevented what would have inevitably been a larger loss of life-something the Police failed so shockingly to do.
