| Girls between the ages of 14-17yrs in the middle East is the same as capturing 21year olds in the United States. Their offense was seen as material to being treated as prisoners of war. I do think that withholding food and water is very draining on people but I understand that these "kids" actions are only pre-emptive of so called "Adult" violations. How do we differentiate war treatment? Any failure to respond with the utmost potent of response to anyone who breaks the law is only permitting greater harm to endure within a nation that intends to establish Peace. The fact that these girls did not part with information for an exchange of food and warmth means that they consider their actions above any better treatment.War is inhumane! How should they be treated? They are tempting the laws and questioning authority. |
