Jonathan Lis, Haaretz Correspondent: J'lem police chief: Cop on duty should've stopped yeshiva attacker

Leaving aside the inane and irrelevant comments, filled with ignorance and anti-haredi bias, let`s focus on the facts as they are known:
1) A single terrorist was able to enter an unprotected building filled with dozens of minors.
2) That terrorist proceeded to shoot at and then methodically execute children.
3) Two police officers arrived on the scene and did not enter the premises, giving the suicidal / homicidal terrorist ample time to kill even more, and going against the Israeli doctrine of charging the enemy.
4) If not for the courageous act of an IDF officer, who had to literally push past the police officer instructing him not to enter, the terrorist would likely have succeeded in killing dozens of minors.
What needs to be done:
1) Schools and buildings need to made at least as secure as malls.
2) Those police who clearly acted in an unprofessional manner should be fired. There can be no tolerance for cowardice or `freezing up` in Israeli society in the face of terrorists.
