The Associated Press: Egyptian president warns Israel: No occupation lasts forever
Talkback
Title:#8 Well, let`s just put the truth to one side, hey Brad?

B: "Lets set aside the important argument that Israel has a historic claim that is recognized in international law to all or a portion of lands it occupies"

Indeed, since there is no such recognition under Int`l Law because if there were then Israel would be a "sovereign", not an "occupier".

B: "The occupation followed an unprovoked attack by all the Arab armies surrounding Israel."

Untrue. This occupation following an attack BY Israel ON Egypt on June 5 1967.

B: "Israel`s strategy was to fight that battle in the invaders lands."

Translation: Let`s just PRETEND we`ve been invaded, so we can PRETEND this is a (!!) "preemptive counter-offensive" (!!)

Nobody invaded Israel in 1967, but Israel certainly:
1) invaded Egypt
2) invaded territory Jordan considered its own
3) invaded Syria.

B: "These invaders are now saying, o.k. we invaded your land, with a view to destroying your state, we lost and we want our land back."

No, because your first 3 "facts" are wrong.
