Lets set aside the important argument that Israel has a historic claim that is recognized in international law to all or a portion of lands it occupies.

Setting that point to the side and treating the occupation as occupation of another`s land, one has to ask how did that come about? Did Israel simply invade, wihout provocation, and grab the land because it wanted the land. We all know the answer to that is "no". The occupation followed an unprovoked attacke by all the Arab armies surrounding Israel. Israel`s strategy was to fight that battle in the invaders lands. These invaders are now saying, o.k. we invaded your land, with a view to destroying your state, we lost and we want our land back. In effect they are saying that an unprovoked attack on a Nation has no cost other than the individual lives of their citizens. If the attack succeeds they gain and if it doesn`t they don`t lose.

Well, President Mubarak, no unsuccessful invasion goes without a remedy. What is the remedy?
