While reactions like those of MK Uri Ariel are understandable, I thank you for your integrity.
Germans today are not responsible of what their grandfathers did. And if you, the grandsons and granddaughters act with a high moral sense of responsibilty, like Gremany has overall for the last 60 years, then the Israeli-German friendship and alliance is not only beneficial to both, but an example to the nations opf the world, that by means of asking forgiveness and contributing to repair the little that after the Shoah could be done to heal the horrific past; and by Israel being magnanimous enough to -without forgetting- being able to accept and welcome your integrity, we are giving an example to the whole world. If the German-Jewish past can be turned into an alliance, then there is hope for any feud in the planet.
